October 7 to November 7, 2020

A sealed bid auction is a form of auction where bidders submit bids in a concealed fashion.  The submitted bids are compared and the person with the highest bid wins the piece of art, paying the amount of their bid to the St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre.


How to Participate

During your visit to the Public art Centre:

Take a look at the art on display in the auction.  Information about the art is provided alongside the works.  A value has been provided for each work as well as a minimum bid (your bid must be equal to or greater than the minimum).


When you have decided on the artwork(s) you would like to bid on please fill out a bid form. Bid forms must be filled out in full and signed.  Please print clearly! One form must be filled out for each piece you are bidding on.  You may bid on any work, as often as you like.


At the conclusion of the auction, November 7, 2020 the winning bidders will be notified. Payment in full and pick up of art is required by Saturday, November 28, 2020.

Payment may be made using: cash, cheque, debit, credit and e-transfer.
